Ct: Women of Integrity: Part 1
“Her husband can trust her, and she will greatly enrich his life.” -Proverbs 31:11 “It is better to take refuge in the Lord, than to trust in people.” - Psalm 118:8 OVERALL THEME: Being a woman of God makes you a woman who is trustworthy. We cannot trust mere human, but we must trust in the Christ in a person. We can trust in Christ alone. CT Questions 1. In the past, who have you had a hard time trusting? why? 2. What makes you trustworthy? 3. What do you have a hard time trusting God in? Why? Ending Verse: ”Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do and he will show you which path to take.” -Proverbs 3:5
“Who can find a virtuous and capable wife? She is more precious than rubies.”
-Proverbs 31:10
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls. When he discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it.”
-Matthew 13:45
OVERALL THEME: Being a woman of God is rare. A woman who is following the Lord and loves Him. Being a follower of Christ is rare, but worth so much more. If we look at the parable, The kingdom of Heaven is rare but when found it is worth everything the merchant had. Just like a woman of God, we are rare because we have Christ in us that is worth everything.
CT Questions
1. What do you think it means to be a wife?
2. What do you find your worth in?
3. Why are we rare/worth a great value?

Ending Verse: ”See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands.” - Isaiah 49:16
The last thing Jesus said to His disciples was the great commission,
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”- Matthew 28:18-19
The first thing Jesus said to His disciples was,
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said,”and I will make you fishers of men!”- Matthew 4:19
Our purpose in life is to make disciples, to spread the word of Jesus. How do we fish for men? Fish are attracted to bait, so how do we become baitable? To be more Christlike.
CT QUESTIONS
To be more Christlike and “baitable” we will be studying Proverbs 31 and Attributes of Jesus in the Gospels.
Ending Bible verse:
“Feed the hungry and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as day. The Lord will guide you continually, watering your life when you are dry and keeping you healthy too. You will be a well watered garden, like an ever flowing spring. Your children will rebuild the deserted ruins of your cities. Then you will be known as the people who rebuild their cities and walls.” -Isaiah 58:10-12
